<Poem>

<Translation>
Under sail, the sun getting higher,
but I go on idly dozing, still not up.
Up, I question the helmsman－
"We've made thirty li already!"
In the prow there's a portable stove
where we boil rice, cook red carp.
When I've eaten my fill, I stroll around,
rinse hands and mouth in the autumn river.
All my life I've longed to roam the waters－
suddenly one morning I'm on this trip!
What's more, I needn't give up family－
wife and child with me on the boat!
